   July corn is steady, July soybeans are up 1/4 cent, July KC wheat is up 4
cents, July Chicago wheat is up 2 cents, and MIAX July Minneapolis wheat is up
0.0275 cents.

   EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: July corn is steady, July soybeans are up
1/4 cent, July KC wheat is up 4 cents, July Chicago wheat is up 2 cents, and
MIAX July Minneapolis wheat is up 0.0275 cents.

   CME Globex Recap: On Thursday, July corn dropped 1 cent, July soybeans
dropped 2 1/2 cents, and July KC wheat was down 19 3/4 cents. Soybean, soft red
winter wheat, and hard red winter wheat basis strengthened on Thursday, while
corn and hard red spring wheat basis held steady. Wheat led the way downward on
Thursday, driven more by technical signals rather than fundamentals. Corn and
soybeans' weakness stemmed from rumors of progress in Middle East peace talks.
The U.S. announced on Thursday that 'Project Freedom' will restart guiding
commercial ships with naval and air support through the Strait of Hormuz.
Though Iran launched missiles against U.S. warships on Thursday, President
Trump said the cease-fire is still in effect. The markets will digest a federal
trade court ruling on Thursday that President Trump's latest 10% tariffs on
goods from every nation are unlawful. On Friday, after the close at 2:30 p.m.
CDT, CFTC will release the Commitments of Traders report, wrapping up the
trading week by updating trader positions as of Tuesday, May 5.

   OUTSIDE MARKETS: The previous close on Thursday showed the Dow Jones
Industrial Average down 313.62 points at 49,596.97, and the S&P 500 down 28.01
points at 7,337.11. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.392%. Early Friday,
the June Dow Jones Futures are up 129 points. European markets are lower, with
spot futures of London's FTSE 100 down 0.45%, spot futures of Germany's DAX
down 0.97%, and spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.89%. Asian markets
are lower, with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.19% and China's Shanghai
Composite Index down 0%.
